Directions for use
- Shampoo your hair using a pH-balanced shampoo (such as Directions Pre Colour Shampoo) to create the ideal base for maximum colour absorption.
- Towel dry the hair, then apply Directions evenly using a tint brush.
- Comb through until the colour emulsifies — becomes frothy — helping pigments penetrate effectively. Lighter shades may require additional combing.
- Process for 15–30 minutes. For enhanced results, cover with a plastic cap to retain heat.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water, keeping the hair away from the face, until all residue is removed.
Tips
Wear gloves to avoid staining. Use Vaseline, petroleum jelly or baby oil around the hairline to protect the skin. As with all hair colours, we recommend performing a strand test before full application.
Do NOT mix Directions with peroxide.
Do NOT use on eyelashes or eyebrows.
Do NOT use shampoo containing conditioner before colouring.
